During the visit we had opportunity to feed and pet two of the aviary's two-toed sloths. The third, named Wookiee, which doesn't do the interactions, lives in the rainforest section of the aviary. When entering the enclosure there is a sign telling us to lookiee for Wookiee.
The first day he was hidden pretty good and we could barely get a view of him. On the second day however, the sloth had his track shoes on. Or at least what passes for track shoes for a sloth. He spent a good hour moving from side to side in the enclosure so we were able to get some good pictures. Hopefully we will see one in the wild when we visit Costa Rica.
