While I was searching for wood ducks and woodpeckers in the swamp section of the park, one particularly brave nuthatch decided to check me out. It got within a couple of feet from me, watching what I was doing. I'm guessing that it was used to hand feeding from people, just like the birds on the birdsong trail at Mendon Ponds. Unfortunately I didn't have any bird seed to give it. After a few minutes, it seemed to realize that and it hopped away up the tree.
